We’re looking for a well structured and experienced HR Manager.
People are our most important asset and as the Human Resources Manager you will work with employees and their line managers to ensure business goals are achieved through good job descriptions, performance management and training programmes. Identifying skill gaps and recruitment needs within the organisation and managing the recruitment/interview process would be a key part of your job. Your main administrative duties would include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures but can also juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.
Organize and maintain personnel records
Update internal databases on sick leave, holidays, etc. and quality check all payroll related data like work schedules
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
Manage the recruitment and selection process
Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
Nurture a positive working environment
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance, coordinating with line managers and employees
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Help organize strategy seminars and team building events
Proven working experience as HR manager or other HR officer
People oriented and results driven
Demonstrated experience with human resources metrics
Knowledge of HR systems and databases
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices in Denmark, preferably some working knowledge of Norway and Sweden.
Degree in Human Resources or related field
You communicate fluently in Danish and English, both in writing and verbally. You also need to read and understand Norwegian as you will work with our Norwegian colleagues on a daily basis.
In addition, you are comfortable using IT systems and can quickly familiarize yourself with new administrative systems. We are tech driven and use a host of online system, as well as Google Suite.
As a person, you are proactive, detail oriented, flexible and service-minded. You are also diplomatic and possess a high level of personal integrity which is needed as you will be working with confidential and sensitive information.
